It works, to a certain extent.
When I first used 8202 I didn't notice anything new except the color of the water. The bowl gets dirty just as quickly as before. I then decided that the next time I cleaned the bowl I would add about 4-5 ounces of bleach and let it sit for a couple of hours. Now the bowl stays clean longer. I think it's worth it, if only for the health of the septic tank. Pros: Keeps the bowl cleaner longer, promotes septic tank health, is not expensive. Cons: Claims of keeping the bowl clean for a long time are exaggerated.
