Review on Five Star Ethernet Twisted Networking by Jeff Warne

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This is enough in a pinch, but you get what you pay for!

The cable technically meets the standards to be called CAT5e, but in general it's one of the smaller classes of cable I've worked with. The outer PVC jacket is so thin that the cable can be kinked extremely easily when exiting the box. I mean, if you're doing some house wiring, you'll probably be fine. If you're doing commercial work or somewhere that's subject to some degree of wear and tear, spend the extra money and buy the next pack of better quality cables.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Blunt hardware
