I can finally make an egg muffin at home. But I cook eggs, meat and cheese at the same time. Add some oil to the pan, spray the ring with non-stick pan spray and place in the pan. Crack an egg into a ring, break open the yolk, top with ham/Canadian bacon and grated cheese. Put about 1 liter of water in the steamer. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the egg is cooked through and the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes or so, while the muffin is toasting. Butter the bread, carefully remove the ring and prepare the sandwich. What a great idea!
