I have tried several times to like this product but have always been disappointed. The colors available are very limited, and some of them, like yellow, contain white, so the mixed colors aren't as pure as we'd like. They're good for kids or beginners, but I wouldn't recommend them for experienced or serious artists. They dry quickly, which is an advantage in some cases, but the downside is that the ink gets sticky pretty quickly. You can add a retarder which seems to help. Most water-based inks are labeled "water-soluble" and contain oil. This will make the colors more saturated, but you can still clean them with water. Speedball ink is truly water-based and oil-free. So that might be an advantage for some. If you are picky about your colors and like to mix them up, I would not recommend this product.
