Bought the thermometer because my brother in law insisted I need it, well he's right. I planned on smoking my second brisket for the fourth. nicely packaged. I put the batteries in and started pressing the buttons. He couldn't believe the quality was worth the price AND how accurate it was compared to his VERY expensive thermometer he uses. Garage where the smoker stands, 20ft through a brick wall which is plastered on the inside, then through this bedroom (2 more plastered walls) and into the living room. damn good! If you are new to smoking and grilling, give this a try. You will love it.
