You should know that a fan with a nearly constant speed of 2000 rpm is not so much loud for the fan itself as for the sound of the air. The fan itself is surprisingly quiet, with no squeaking or rattling to be heard between the soft contact surfaces and the build quality. Still, it's one of the most underrated case fans I've ever used. There is a mediocre case that needed urgent help to bring down internal and component temperatures. This thing alone significantly reduced CPU and GPU temperatures by acting as an exhaust fan on the back of the case. I'm pretty blown away (pun intended). If you're looking for a fan that's easier on the ear, I'd say some of their PWM models are likely winners as well, or maybe some of their lower RPM DC options. I haven't tested it in a static pressure dependent position, but it seems to rank highly in that regard as well (limited intake and/or radiator applications). If you're looking for a 3-pin fan that seriously moves air and doesn't care about extra noise, this is your fan, except absolutely none.
