Description of Enhance PC Cooling with Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm Case Fan - 2000 RPM, Single Pack

Newly designed blade and frame contribute high airflow with low noise, ideally for case cooling fan. Sealed Precision FDB reduces friction ensuring silent operation and longer life-span of 120 000 hours(MTTF). Included antivibration rubber pads which cover the tunnelless mounting holes. These decouplers effectively reduce possible vibrations and allow low-noise operation. Fan speed: 2000±10%, Airflow: 89.04CFM, Static Pressure: 2.99mmH2O, Noise: 38dBA. Fan dimension: 120x120x25mm, MTTF: 120000hrs, Connector: 3-Pin.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

4-pin power supply can be controlled by rotation from the BIOS or various programs, the previous Scythe Slip Stream 120 fan, with a service life of 30,000 hours, is still in service since 2022, and this one has even better hydrodynamic bearing and service life is 4 times longer 120220 hours.

Pros
  • Inexpensive, long life, quiet at medium speeds, beautiful backlight.
Cons
  • Have not found

CFM really is what they claim it is.

I know that many fans always quote a specific CFM, but often it is ideal conditions that are tested in the laboratory. I need to know as my previous job was to develop prototype machines. BUT, these things deliver what they promise. These are some of the noisiest fans I've ever used, but that has to do with the air volume, not the fan motor itself. They really do move a massive amount of air and perform fantastically. I let them draw air out of my case and 6 corsairs on a two stroke cooler for…

airflow definition.

You can't turn off the sound of airflow, but that's exactly what this fan tries to do. Running at a maximum of 2000 RPM, this silent warrior has enough static pressure to force air through every part of the PC case/dust filter. These fans helped keep the system temperature down on my PC and at least kept it a little quieter. You can't get better performance or a quieter fan for this price. Very close to the performance and smoothness of Noctua fans at half the price.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Some little things

Great fans at a great price. I bought a bunch of these after buying a Scythe CPU cooler for my AMD Ryzen CPU. I bought them at different speeds and tested them on different parts of my body. Use a much lower RPM if you decide to run those fans backwards in your case. For example. Upper exhaust. Because fans at 2000 rpm will rattle. I've tried two with the same result. But I wanted them to give my graphics card more air. I took apart an old Alienware Area 51 from 2006 and updated everything…

Powerful but noisy in the case Fan

You should know that a fan with a nearly constant speed of 2000 rpm is not so much loud for the fan itself as for the sound of the air. The fan itself is surprisingly quiet, with no squeaking or rattling to be heard between the soft contact surfaces and the build quality. Still, it's one of the most underrated case fans I've ever used. There is a mediocre case that needed urgent help to bring down internal and component temperatures. This thing alone significantly reduced CPU and GPU…

Inexpensive, relatively quiet for its speed, and makes

My computer is on test bench so I needed a strong cooling fan for my GPU but I was worried about the noise. My first fan was too slow (1200 rpm), the second (3000 rpm) was too loud. The sound of its 3000 rpm engine is high pitched and shrill. The Scythe Kaze Flex 120 mm fan makes a barely perceptible sound of rushing air at 2000 rpm - no motor noise. Considering how much air it's pushing through my Nvidia Xp, you'd think it would be very noisy, but it's not. It also has anti-vibration pads in…

I bought 6 fans and only 1 has a very pleasant problem!

I ordered these fans to replace my old mix of Cooler Master, Roswell and other unknown fans to keep cooling consistent and to be honest they work MUCH better than I did for 12 -dollar fan expected. I have everything 100% via a Coolermaster fan hub and yes it is noisy but it is not motor noise as others have said, it is actually the sound of quite a bit of air being pushed through the system/fans. On one of the 6 fans, only one had an issue and this is the only one of the 6 that has noticeable…

nice fan wish they were pwm

I took this 2000rpm model to replace the PWM 1200rpm version that came with my fuma 2 also wanted that one upgrade middle fan to get close to RPM and static pressure. but i wanted to keep the alternative air thing of the fuma 2 scythe as i couldn't find another fan that spins clockwise like kaze flex and since scythe doesn't make this version as pwm i went ahead and just bought this one. This 2000rpm fan creates a lot of air and static pressure through my fuma 2. It's a really nice upgrade over

Pros
  • very good price
