What I remember most about portable games

My family wasn't poor, but we had some money. Most of our toys and games were pretty basic, but growing up I realized that they were just as much a learning experience as the toys. The pickups I played with were exactly the same. Some were slightly deformed. They were made of wood. I bought a set for my grandkids because my sons gave them all these damn phones as gifts, even the littlest ones have something like a smartphone and keep hunching their necks at the sight of the screens. They don't go out with their friends if they have any. They don't come out to do anything. These phones make great babysitters, but each of my friends the same age were years ahead of me in terms of communication and motor skills. When I was 10 everyone was playing Mumble Peg. The police would now be called if a bunch of kids threw knives at our feet, but we had hand-eye coordination that kids today can only dream of. It's a simple game, but keep these little zombies interested and they'll prefer it to a silly video game. There are many similar games. Try chess one day when they disappear from the screen. Even small children can play a good game. I threw away my smartphone eight years ago and my life has become much richer. I'm a businessman, I only have one landline phone and I haven't lost a dime. I found freedom I hope that these little games will give the children some freedom again.
