This is an excellent motherboard for a budget Ryzen 3000 build

In my opinion an excellent budget motherboard, at least for my needs. This was my very first build and I wanted to build an inexpensive computer that would support VR and be upgradeable in the future and at around $70 the price was about right. I gathered all my parts and started installing everything, all went well and smoothly. It has an m.2 slot, so I'll get an m.2 memory card later for the operating system and a few other programs. At the moment I'm using a hard drive that was borrowed from another computer, connected directly with the SATA cable that came with the motherboard (actually 2 come, 1 normal straight cable and 1 with a 90Β° angle) . The only issue I had was with the I/O shield, when I aligned it during installation everything looked fine so I screwed on the motherboard and everything looked aligned and fine. But after putting everything together, I found that one of the tabs on the shield was stuck in the HDMI connector. I pulled it out and bent it, there was no way to fight the little screws on the top row of the board again without a magnetic tipped screwdriver lol. I assembled everything, hooked it up and inspected everything visually (a bit worried because all I know is I forgot something or did something wrong, this is my first build). I flipped the power button, pressed the power button and BOOM. I have the Power. Went into the BIOS menu, the slot is different than the Dell and HP BIOS I'm used to lol. It has CPU and RAM overclocking options, I haven't tried it yet, but I intend to increase my memory a bit. It also displays your CPU temperature, which I'm not used to. All in all, if you're buying a b450m board on a budget, you can't go wrong with this motherboard. If it wasn't for the budget I would buy MSI Gaming Plus. Maybe in the future. I recommend the MSI B450M Pro-M2 MAX motherboard.
