Assembly takes some time. To keep it from falling apart, you need to make sure the pieces fit together snugly. Sometimes I had to use pliers and a real hammer to snap the pieces together and then use zip ties to hold them together. It takes some effort. I bought two, one for my aunt's closet in the apartment we moved into when the closet doors were damaged by previous tenants. Instead of replacing the doors I used this and it looks great in her room. I rearranged the other one to use in my kitchen as there are so few cabinets. I really had to make sure it was solid and put heavier items on the floor. So far it works great.
