Review on 🐦 Tall Bird Cage - Blue Ribbon Heavy Gauge by Kristen Campbell

I bought EXACTLY the same cage 11 years ago. I usually use it as a travel/intermediate cage for my gray parrot, for vet visits or on car trips. Fits perfectly in the passenger seat. But over the years of transport and storage the plastic bottom has cracked badly (the cage part is fine) so I needed a new one. I thought I would get the same product. Oh god no! Looks identical but the part of the cage itself is SUPER CHEAP, THIN wire. Good for a parrot, maybe a cockatiel, but no more. "Heavy Caliber" HAAAAAA! My Gray would tear him apart in no time. Even harnesses and perches are thinner and cheaper. Down too, but it's bearable. I would return it but I need it badly now because I had to attach/weld the large main cage in several places (my bird and main cage are almost 20 years old). I need SOMETHING to keep it alive for a few weeks while I send the main cage in for repairs. So I put a new floor on top of an old sturdy cage (perfect for the 'same' product of course) and everything else. this "new" cell ends up in the trash, which it is. So I spent $50 on a plain plastic base for an old cage. You should AT LEAST RENAME this product and NOT classify it as "Heavy Caliber". It's just NOT! If you have a medium to (extra) large bird, this product is NOT for you.
