Not made for decks!

No warning given not to use on a wood surface.
When moved, we found it burned a hole in our deck. Use only on the ground or with some kind of protective barrier on deck.

Pros

It is easy to move around, attractive and emits a nice fire

Cons

The size is not ideal for larger gatherings.
