For movies in DD, DTS, etc. it will do fine, it decodes confidently, but if stereo or even mix stereo in 5.1, then the sound is disgusting. Loses BW Zeppelin and the old Yamaha 5.1 by an order of magnitude, but switching for all occasions (only an extra overpayment). Listened to FLAC and streamed Spotify from HEOS, not really. Of course, recordings in DTS and DD are better, but as they wrote right there, there is a feeling that all the money was spent on switching. And you can not even write about the entry level, etc., $ 1000 for the receiver . I don’t know why it was so highly rated, I will try to pick up BW Zeppelin in Zone 2 and somehow live with it. But for movies and new consoles it will do
