
The instructions were not particularly helpful but anyone using this kit should be fairly experienced in auto repair and understand how to use it. I used everything that came in the kit except for the 4mm locking pin to replace the timing chain to pass the MOT. My original chain skipped a tooth which caused the Check Engine light to come on. This kit helped me avoid a $1,900 labor bill that my local dealer gave me. All tools were of high quality and fitted perfectly with no issues. The large crankshaft locking pin was a huge lifesaver because I didn't have a key for the crankshaft pulley, nor did I have room next to the frame guide in my Volt for the jury-made replacement. Instead, I made sure the crankshaft lock pin was fully seated and removed the crankshaft pulley using a large 1/2" breakaway tool. It was quite difficult to move the A/C compressor bracket to insert the crankshaft locking pin, but it was eventually doable. 5 stars for a job well done, in a very handy case and saved me a lot of money.
