Review on Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM FLD Lens: Large Aperture Standard Zoom for Canon DSLR - International Version (No Warranty) by Ashley Rogers

Everything about it works great! The stabilizer is just fantastic, the zoom range and lens hood are included. My only complaint is that the focus mechanics are very noisy. If I was just taking photos it wouldn't matter much, but I also shoot professional videos and I can't have that little noise in the background. I would also say that the widest zoom is not exactly 50mm. I have a Canon 50mm Prime and this Prime is a bit further out so I will still have the 50mm on hand in case I need a little more range. The last detail is that it has some weight, which is nice, but it also means I need to add more counterweights to my steadicam setup that I use, but this is definitely going to be my new favorite lens!
