This temperature probe has taken my cooking, especially baking, to a whole new level! It's impossible to guess if the bread etc. is supposed to come out of the oven, what the temperature of this liquid is, or if it has reached the gel stage. I bought this model for the talk function, but the display is so easy to read that I almost never had to use this option, but it's clear when I do and the button for it is well placed. The temperature can be determined very quickly. I also like that it has a magnet and is strong enough to hold so I can always grab it comfortably. It turns on by simply opening the dipstick and turns off by flipping it back (turns off in case you forget). Seems well done. I would have been lost without him.
