Great on the go. Very thick plastic and shock-absorbing bubble wrap; Fold bottom and then close with velcro (the folds presumably prevent leakage of liquid in case of breakage). But used several times, both driving and flying, and no breaks. Loved it so much I had to order more as we were sending home wine with friends in this one. Not very small, but small means more risk of breakage. Some brands have an absorbent pad; not these - they just (allegedly) contain a spill in the packaging. There was never a break to test it (I could have tested it by filling it with water but I didn't).
