I know they weren't bought from a small cafe in north-west France, but for small, single-serving crème brûlée and soufflés they don't look out of place. The set includes six smaller molds and six larger molds. The smaller ones are 3.5 inches in diameter at the rim, the larger ones are 4.75 inches. The big ones are quite deep and hold more than you think just for the diameter, maybe a little big for a creme brulee (unless you wanted to gain weight for a film role). They can be used for mini soup bowls, sauces, or many other things I haven't thought of. They are basically one size smaller than a standard cereal bowl. The fluted style and white glaze is trés français and hello to the people who crated them, very securely packed even if you drop the crate on the concrete. I don't think anything will break. Good value for money!
