Review on Kohler Genuine 1039861 Flush Valve by Kobby Cagle

I buy one of these flush valves about every 6 months. A designer is having a bad day or a drug problem. The small plastic feet do not withstand the load of the surface in the long run. I've replaced so many of them that I can do it blindfolded. Since Kohler doesn't offer a solution (metal replacement, new tank design, etc.), the ultimate answer is to replace the toilet. I'm currently researching the most indestructible brands I can find.
