June 2021 Update I had this cord 2 years ago and found it to be very durable. Now I use it to tie my pygmy goat to a specific spot at regular intervals to enjoy the clover. The goat tugged hard on the leash and he kept holding it. In case you didn't know, goats are very strong. I am very happy about this leadership. The vinyl covering is also in good condition. Original 2020 comment: I have only used this leash when we go to parks and take our dogs. We put them on this leash when we sit and eat at picnic tables. We have 50 lb border collies and this leash is great for that purpose. It's thinner than I expected but doesn't bind. It's light, which I like, and strong enough to hold our dogs. I've had lead for about a year and only used it about 5 times. My dogs never pull on it hard, so I can't comment on how strong it actually is. We pack it in a duffel bag for our dogs and always take it with us so they always have a good tie wherever we go.
