The tools were good enough but the large stock of needles (which I needed as I already had most of the tools from another supplier) was a big disappointment. My photo (hopefully) shows the main problem: the root needles need to be cut at an angle to allow a deep eye to catch and bring the pupa's gait closer to the head. I've attached a photo of my last such needle - the one on the right is particularly sharp (because it has a deep eye, but the shorter part of that hook just broke off when I rerooted, so it won't work now because it's that thread can not hold). All pins supplied in this haircut are cut straight leaving a very small pocket for holding/pulling the hair. Maybe these needles could be used by other and better crafters but I need all the help I can get! Sooo - I will buy something from this other seller.
