So I took a chance on buying this little $16 speaker to use on my desk while I work at home. My laptop's speaker just wasn't up to the task of meeting online. I read the reviews and the complaints about the lack of bass didn't scare me because I only used it for spoken word, not music (plus, how much bass do you really expect from a small speaker the size of a hot dog -Brötchen's "installation" was nothing more than just a connector!I've read a few complaints about the speaker not having its own volume control but that actually turned out to be a plus for me as I can mount it in the back of mine Desk, between the base of my monitor and a table lamp If I had to control the volume with the knob on the speaker I would have to put it somewhere else and for my needs it was best far back The volume works best The controls are the same as without the speaker. Just use the keys on my keyboard - great, it goes perfectly with my B every now and then needs.
