I'm a woman who wears a size 10. I frequently buy mens mediums for comfy lounging.I purchased a medium tall to have something to run around the house in paired with leggings.For a fleece I thought the fabric was much stiffer than anticipated. Much more like a cheap cotton sweatshirt on the outside. While the shirt was longer for the tall, it ran VERY narrow. It was very tight. uncomfortably so. Tight enough that I'm not even confident a large would work.
