One thing that's a plus for this scooter is that the wheels are not inflatable which means no flat tires! We live in an area with lots of sticker weeds and have replaced so many bike tubes. So it's nice knowing that won't be an issue with this bike. However, it does make the ride more bumpy.Something to know about the assembly:1. The handles are specific to Left and RightThere's a marking for R and L on the ends of the handles. I didn't see this, and I don't believe it was in the instructions. Had a hard time getting the handles to work until I saw there was a right and a left.2. The Right handle goes on counter clockwise (left is clockwise)At least for the one we got, the threading is backwards on the right handle. Turn it left to thread. Maybe ours is a fluke, but it felt like it was going to destroy the thread if I turned it clockwise. Turning it counter clockwise made it it work.The thread is really tiny and it's hard to get it started at first.3. There were some broken pieces of plastic in the bottom of the packaging, but we couldn't find any place on the scooter where it would have come from. Weird.Other than that, the scooter is great with a really good battery life. It might not go as fast as the other scooters out there, but that's okay when this is for kids. All in all, a good scooter!
