Appears to be copper plated steel

I believe it is a copper plated steel pipe. A magnet sticks to this brake line. The outside is copper but the ends are silver on the inside. I didn't think it was cupronickel so I sent it back and bought cupronickel from another seller. The magnet will not stick to a new cord from another manufacturer.
