I love good sharp scissors when I need them and there are no better all-round scissors than a classic Fiskars. but none of them come close to the quality of Fiskars scissors. These scissors stay sharp longer and I've never had a loose screw holding the two blades together. I keep a pair in my kitchen, in my workshop, in our office, even in my greenhouse. I use different pairs for fabric and paper, as well as for general purposes like plastic yarn, even flower stems. In this way, the individual pairs for cloth and paper remain sharp for longer. General-purpose pairs are replaced more often, but the cost of replacement is reasonable. When it comes to sharp, clean cuts, I find the Fiskars to be the best.
