I bought the same hori hori under a different brand five years ago and was delighted. This one comes with a much better sheath (thick leather, both stitched and riveted) and a cheaper price point (double saw). It lasted better than the other two similar versions I bought. Note that it has three pins holding the handle. That means it's a "full tail", meaning: the metal from the blade runs through the hilt to the hilt of the knife, making it stronger and allowing me to use it as a pry bar for weeds deeply rooted in the hard ground. .I especially like preparing ground squirrel burrows for traps. (Avoid those with a protruding protective cover for this purpose). Note: The blade is quite sharp on both sides which I'm sure some people will like, but I only dig with it so pointed is fine, but sharp edges are a hazard I don't want. It comes with a sharpening stone, which can also be used as a blunt stone depending on your taste.
