Review on Soundbar Sony HT-CT390 by Stanislaw Sipko ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

The model fully justifies the expectations. Initially, when he saw him in the store, he was impressed by the design, which is possible and eventually determined the choice in his favor, the so-called. I've always liked Sony style. During the "control" listening in the store, I realized - I must take it. For the sake of objectivity, I listened to a couple more models from Korean manufacturers in the same price category. It turned out that it wasn't. At home, I hung the device on the wall. Looks great under TV. Installation and connection are simple. The initial settings are even easier. It is easier and more convenient, not poorer. The TV is also Sony. The sound impressed more than expected. Especially when connecting external sound sources - watching movies from a hard drive, music from a flash drive (there is a convenient USB connector) or when listening to music from a phone (via bluetooth). The bass is good, sometimes you have to lower the volume of the subwoofer - there is a separate volume control for it. By the way, I connected the soundbar directly via HDMI - HDMI (ARC), and not with complete optics. There are not many settings, they are optimal, pre-flashed, set once and saved. Position - wall, sound - Clear + . Everything. Well, there are also modes "dialogues" and "night" (have not used it yet). I summarize: the device is worth the money. Looks solid, more expensive than its price. The sound quality, if you don't go into nuances, for a room of 20 meters is not bad at all. When watching on-air TV programs, the sound is a little less bassist (which is rather normal), but voluminous and quite balanced. As already mentioned, the bass is well revealed when listening to music from external sources. The device is universal in use and, it seems to me, is capable of completely replacing, for example, an average-level music center (unless there is no longer an actual CD-DVD drive).

Pros
  • Design, overall sound quality, price-performance ratio, ease of installation and connection
Cons
  • I have not yet found any obvious or critical shortcomings (for 3 weeks of operation)
