So I've had 2 MFPs in the past, both HP. Both lost the ability to scan and copy, so monoblock became monoblock. HP customer service. said they fixed the problem in their new products but have not returned/could not return or exchange these 2 defective products. Because of this, I had my doubts about going with Canon, but after reading the reviews and seeing what it's capable of, I have to admit I'm IMPRESSED! sharp but the colors are beautiful and it dries instantly - a benefit for the home user! The second thing I printed was a scanned black and white photo (at an impressive 1200 dpi) on Kodak glossy photo paper and it looked like the professional photo I scanned! I could make wallets out of 5x7 and no one would ever notice I was making it from home. I printed black text on plain paper and the quality is almost laser like. I AM SOLD! I highly recommend this for your photos, flyers, invitations or whatever you print from home and people will think you copied them professionally. you push! Until he finds a door for the LED, but that hasn't happened yet. ;)
