Looks like a great quality watch.

I just bought this watch for my six year old son so here are my first thoughts: It looks like a great quality watch like I paid a lot more for it than it was worth. He previously had a watch with a similar "time teacher" design, with the minutes on the outer circle, like this one. On his old watch, every department had a number, not just 60, 15, 30, and 45 like this one. Since he learned to read the time better with his old watch I think this will be fine and he had no problem telling the time without the numbers marked with fives. I like the flexible plastic strap. His old watch had a velcro fastener and as a boy there was always something in it! There are no problems with this watch. The reason I had to replace his old watch was because the outer minute track rotated like a dial. I don't think it had to be that way, but it shifted, and when it was, say, 12:30, the minute hand was not on the 30th but on the 45th or some other random number. This makes it really difficult for a child who wants to learn how to tell the time! Not sure if they should rotate or not but in any case there are no issues with this watch as they are all one piece. He specifically asked me for a Batman watch, but many of the ones I saw in the store were digital. He's old enough to know how to use a watch, so I didn't want to make it easy for him and go digital :) We've only had a watch for a few days, but so far he and I like it. Money well spent! Highly recommended but I'll update this review if anything changes.
