My Paul Mitchell hair straightener that I have had for over 10 years broke. Long story short, I'm in a remote area of the Big Island of Hawaii on business and not every corner has ults or trendy barbershops to go to and shop. So I looked for something cheap that would get the job done and could keep me going until I got home. The first time I used it, I noticed that it didn't hold very well on the hair. You have to push yourself. It heats up quickly, has a nice temperature dial, good bright red and green indicators. stays hot. Def straightens my hair. very easy to use, stays on the counter. Cable doesn't bother. I like white. this is perfect for what i need right now! This is going to be a great back straightener - I'll buy a bougie when I get home - and I'm curious to see how it compares :)
