Excellent media streamer for Android

No problems for the first two weeks. Android 10 as advertised. Relatively few viruses. Once set up, it establishes a secure connection over Ethernet and Wi-Fi between our LAN and our AVR. On Android, if your gateway address differs from 192.168.1.1, the device must also set its own IP address, which makes no sense and requires all your other devices on the local network to do the same to avoid IP address conflicts local Network. Not a huge inconvenience, something the Android manufacturers need to fix, but no big deal. Its four main tasks here are playing classical music from our LAN (mainly .flac files), classical music and opera videos from our LAN, classical music and opera from SiriusXM and KUSC, and movies from our LAN or external sources. It does everything smoothly, there are no glitches, the DAC sounds a little better than our previous Android media box. Good little device, good value for money, recommended.

Pros
  • 3D + 4K, H.265, USB 3.0 and BT 4.1: supports 4K x 2K up to 60 fps. The high configuration of the device offers users the best experience with ultra-high speed operation and professional imaging capabilities. Hardware H.265 decoding can save 50% of bandwidth resources. USB 3.0 is many times faster than USB 2.0. It can transfer large capacity files with a storage speed determined by storage devices, and BT 4.1 allows you to use a mini keyboard and headset to enjoy the box.
Cons
  • Socket required
