Review on Folding knife Cold Steel Luzon Large black by Stanislaw Biedka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Excellent orc pierced! I want to grab and go poke humies 🀣 But seriously - an extremely charismatic contraption, but just as useless in everyday use. It's clearly too big for a pocket, and will definitely raise questions from law enforcement officials if you are stopped with it. Although it makes an impression both in terms of products and wood, it works very well. From the point of view of the blade material - there is a simple Chinese stainless steel 8chrome, it cuts quite well out of the box, but the edge holds frankly mediocre. On the other hand, this blade can be sharpened on almost any boot. But it is not so afraid of lateral loads and chipping as the same D2 or harder powders. The opening mechanism is very nice. Due to the significant mass of the blade, there is a very cool recoil at the moment the blade is put on the stop. Fin opening is comfortable and sharp. For spinek I open frankly mediocre. Yes, and its processing is rude - slightly cuts the finger. The material of the handle is quite pleasant to the touch, and the handle itself lies well in the hand. Castle - liner. Personally, I have never slipped the heel of the blade and always the knife could be closed quite easily. The handle has a safety lock against accidental folding. Build quality is acceptable. Specifically, my copy has a deviation of the wedge from the central position slightly to the left, but it does not cling to the dies and, in general, this does not affect performance.

Pros
  • Size. More than adequate price for such a healthy knife. Good mechanics and good cut straight from the factory.
Cons
  • Size. ;) The wedge is not centered.
