It just looks good on the bike.

Okay, let's be honest. Unless you somehow lost your oil filler cap, it's a useless expensive dump. But man only does it to look good. I've bought others for my CBR that just didn't lock well or at all. Don't be put off by what looks like a giant lid in the product photos they've posted on Revain. I believe they used the model of small children's hands. It's big enough to get noticed, but not so big that it's out of place.
