Hey I love this backpack. I spent a lot of time finding the perfect one and finally settled on this one just to try it out. My cat is 10.5lbs for reference, I also tried an 8lb cat and the other is a little bigger than mine. It was sturdy enough to hold my cat and she's usually very laid back and adventurous so she took the bag pretty well. You can wear it on your back or on the front and there are clips to prevent it from coming loose. I like how transparent it is but let's see how it performs on a sunny day of camping. Overall the size is a bit small. My cat can sit in it, but cannot lie down or stretch. However, he seems strong enough to last for a while.
