Review on Company Animals Headcollar Adjustable Training by Kate Windish

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Like harness and reins, but for a dog instead of a horse.

My border collie struggled with this thing until I got used to it. He tried several times to rip it out of his face, but couldn't. Although he managed to twist and mutilate him in a way that made him very uncomfortable. I was good enough to fix it. Now he's used to it, and I like that it takes his mind off distractions. He hasn't been socialized yet so he gets better every time he tries to get another dog. He probably doesn't realize it, but that's how it is. With some sort of harness on my face, I feel like I'm leading a horse with no choice in the direction we're going, rather than fighting a barking dog that refuses to even acknowledge my existence when excited. I would recommend it to anyone who has a dog with traction issues. He literally can't pull me because his face turns to me when he tries. A very useful product.
