My wife bought this for me about a year ago after complaining about the high level of my work trailer. I weigh about 250, 260 with tools and boots and that move sounded great. It's lightweight and easy to clean. It's durable and I've never slipped, even in the rain. The description says it's good for £1000+. I got out of my trailer this morning and thought the right hand side had sunk into the gravel. Unfortunately, the entire right side was destroyed. Not sure what the guarantee is but given that I gained a quarter of the weight for a year it wasn't enough. I will contact the seller and see what they say. FYI, the step is thin steel, not aluminum as advertised. UPDATE: July 2020 Well, here we are again. The picture above is exactly what happened to the second one that was sent to us. Again the caterpillar collapsed and the weld completely broke. I like the way it works, but why can't it support the weight of a 250 lb person when they claim it can support 1500 lbs. Very disappointed.
