Much better for kids than a traditional scarf because it won't tangle or lose. The material is soft enough not to irritate baby's neck. In winter it retains heat without overheating. does not get wet from moisture; it's drizzling and the snow seems to be dripping rather than getting wet. Although my 20 month old wanted to take it off, he once had difficulty trying to take it off. It seems the size and quality will last for years, not just one season. It goes with everything, too, if that's important to you. I want one for myself too.
