Let's start with what this machine isn't. <EMPHASIS>THIS IS NOT A TIG WELDER</EMPHASIS> Just because you can add a kickstart TIG torch to a MIG welder doesn't mean it's a TIG MACHINE. Still, it's an excellent MIG welder and a reasonable arc welder. Now for the good. 1. It has metal drive rollers and is better built than most big blue and big red cheap crap in the same category. These are industry standard videos that are readily available. Dimensions: diameter 30.0mm, width 10.0mm, hole diameter 10.0mm and key. Connection for all three feed rolls (simply select desired wire type and diameter; each roll has two sizes). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089SV57HM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1V-groove of the feed roller is V-shaped for a solid core. The K-groove feed roller is knurled for flux core. The U-groove is designed for soft wire like aluminum. A spool gun makes life easier when using ER4043 Aluminum MIG Welding Wire. In addition, this coil is very very affordable compared to other welding coils on the market. Another big plus of this machine is the display settings and the synergy system. On my old rig I had an Everlast MTS200 and always had to look up the settings for each metal and thickness. I then need to set up these baselines for my welder. Now I just enter the parameters and automatically get the basic settings, which I can change if necessary. I wish it was an imperial gauge, but China loves metric units, so just get a cheap digital caliper that automatically converts to metric units. Flashlight Tips are very cheap and very profitable! Build quality seems good and my unit arrived well packaged with no dents or breaks (good revain)! This device is smaller than my MTS which is a plus. Let's be honest with ourselves for a moment and realize that most of us do not use this welder professionally. Most buyers are DIY enthusiasts or home welders. If you're a pro, buy a professional machine and spend a few thousand on extreme duty cycles. This machine is very capable of high quality welds and even MIG brazing. The very first weld I did with my machine was arc welding with 6013 electrodes on a dirty lawnmower deck. Worked well with rods. I strongly recommend that you get some decent rods (like the Blue Demon) as this will greatly improve the rod's performance. THIS IS NOT A 6010 WELDER! If you want to weld a 6010, buy a good 6010, otherwise don't complain that the MIG welder isn't doing a good job with that particular rod. This works very well with 7018 bars. A ground clamp is "acceptable" but I recommend buying a spare if you can afford it. It has the usual cheap ground clip that 99% of all welders under $1000 are equipped with. Dinze connectors are European so be sure to measure them before you ride and order a new ground wire or ARC/Stick holder. The ARC/Stick flashlight is very versatile and I recommend you buy a better one immediately. That's reasonable, but kinda flimsy. If you want to weld, buy a better torch. This machine comes with an optional MIG torch liner which is said to help with aluminum welding due to its low friction. This is likely to be the case and gets even better if you use ER5356 which is a tougher aluminum MIG wire. But in my opinion, just buying a coil that only costs $150 was an easier decision. All in all, it's a good machine for entry-level MIG welding of aluminium, steel, stainless steel and MIG brazing. This ARC machine welds smart and doesn't cost a fortune. For the price this is a very good machine.
