Update: I recently reorganized my garage and brought some of my gardening tools here. I found that this holder will hold them all, whether the handle is metal, plastic, or wood. This holder even holds my more than 10-year-old rake with an old wooden handle. I was able to hang some of my small hand scissors and trimmers on the hooks and although all my tools carry a lot of weight especially when they are all together this holder is still attached to my wall and not visible any markings. Signs of leaning or slipping of one of my tools. This holder really holds a lot more than just brooms and mops. This holder holds more than just brooms. I installed this in my garage and although there are only 4 slots there are hooks between them. Hooks and slots can be moved from side to side. However, if you put a broom or anything else in it with a handle, it won't fall out at all. The only way to remove it is to pull it out by lifting it out of the holder. When I want to put it back, I just have to insert it from below and push up. Even if I pull down, nothing that I put in comes out. Installation was so easy I just had to attach it to a stud in my garage. Not only is this broom holder sturdy and sturdy, but no matter how many times I use it, nothing has fallen out and it's still attached to my wall.
