Straight out of the shrinkwrap: Overall, the journals seem to be well made, I like the 3 pages for table of content creation, the pages seem to be of decent quality and the binding seems adequate. The cover feels very synthetic when compared to higher-grade journals, but not necessarily a deal breaker for me as I use a leather journal cover. Unfortunately, under the small paper wrap on one of the journals was some damage to the cover, some rogue, drips of dried adhesive that pulled off some of the fake leather when I took the paper wrap cover off. No damage at all to the other journal. I was surprised to see that one journal had two ribbon page markers, while the other had 3. There is a pocket in the back cover, one of them carried some plastic stencils that I will probably never use.I am not really happy with the damage to the cover on one of the journals, and I wish they each had 3 ribbon page markers, but overall it seems like the quality is reasonable for the price.
