The product works as intended, but is way overpriced.
Doesn't reach the bottom of my 75 gallon tank but is closer than before. And $8.50 for a plastic tube? INDEED? TAAAAAAA for the price. You should be ashamed, Fluval! After receiving this I decided I also needed extensions for my AquaClear filters on my other tanks but refused to pay $10 for each. So I cut some 3/8 PVC pipe I had on hand to the length I needed to get to the bottom of my tanks and they work great! Good and tight fit on the intake pipes. Not sure if PVC fits Fluval (maybe 1/2 inch will do) but if you have AquaClear you have a VERY inexpensive alternative.
