Review on 📀 Panasonic DMR-EZ28K DVD Recorder: 1080p Upconversion & Timeless Quality (2004 Model) by Doug Small

I bought this Panasonic DMR-EZ28K 1080p upconverted DVD recorder because a reviewer mentioned that it would do subtitles via an HDMI cable. It does! But I had trouble getting it to work. First you need to go to the recorder's "Display Settings" and enable subtitles and adjust your CC settings. At first no subtitles were displayed at all and I was very angry about the "waste of money". But then I randomly pressed the buttons on the remote control. Wow as soon as you click the 'Show' button (the bottom right button). It works out! However, you must press this indicator button each time you turn on the recorder. The upconverted image quality was very good. demonstrates the cable as a VCR. I really wish that manufacturers of products that put subtitles on the HDMI cable would promote this feature. I also want Revane to promote this. Researching it was a nightmare.
