I had something very different in mind when I ordered this but nonetheless they do the job as advertised. I've never worked with ceramic tips before, so this was a first. To be more precise: The socket consists of a ceramic square with all the necessary slots for the flat plug connection. The pen end is just a plastic box with paddles sticking out. It's a different feeling when you attach them to the bulbs because you can feel the granular surface of the cartridge rubbing against the joints, but it works great!
