Did the job!: Bulbs

later The porcelain socket is solid and the plug is a little flimsy and the wire color doesn't match mine at all but it did exactly what I needed. I used it on a 2013 Triumph Trophy SE as an extension to put some auxiliary lights in and it worked great for that. The light has been working for a month now, no problems.

Comfortable but NOT "heavy ".

Comfortable but NOT "heavy". I read one of the answers to a question about this product that said the wires were 14 AWG, but they are actually 18 AWG - no heavier than my standard '01 Jeep Cherokee headlight harness. The only heavy duty part in them is a ceramic socket. I ended up using them anyway. I cut the wires down the middle, used the male end to operate the new solenoids and used the female end to rebuild my new H4 headlight.

I strongly recommend them with ceramic terminals for possible heating.

Great value extension if you are upgrading to H4 lenses and bulbs with Rally Lights or Putco wiring harness; gives you an extra 4-5 inches to get to the driver's light position without tying the wire harness to the radiator and oil cooler. I recommend them with ceramic terminals for possible heat transfer to the wiring harness when using 55/60w bulbs. . I melted a harness with Rampage lenses and European Osram H4 specs at 80/100w. You can fight the heat. At least on my 95 XJ.

They fit.: Headlight Bulbs

I had something very different in mind when I ordered this but nonetheless they do the job as advertised. I've never worked with ceramic tips before, so this was a first. To be more precise: The socket consists of a ceramic square with all the necessary slots for the flat plug connection. The pen end is just a plastic box with paddles sticking out. It's a different feeling when you attach them to the bulbs because you can feel the granular surface of the cartridge rubbing against the joints…

Good thing Maynard!

good upgrade from factory plastic pads. I knew there was a connector problem on the old blocks but had no idea how serious it was until I removed the old melted connectors and found that I had to cut off the male ends of the new replacements and plug them straight into the wiring harness. The cables were heavier than the stock harnesses (99 Honda CRV). Overall very happy with the parts and had to buy ceramic plugs with no plug and play, who would have thought? As an old school auto repairman…

The wiring harness I received was blue instead of orange as pictured. I put in an H4 bulb, it fits snugly, the harness connectors don't move. The pendant appears to be well made. I'm going to cut off the black connectors and connect them to the wiring on a Chinese scooter to upgrade the factory headlight. Update: I bought a few more of these connectors to replace the factory wiring harnesses on my 1996 Toyota Tacoma. This set was orange. The original wiring harness for my right headlight was…

Perfect for a heavy H4 wiring harness project

EDIT: The first set I got was actually made with 12AWG wiring. However, the kit I just received is made with 18 AWG wiring. I think I'll send them back and keep looking for a quality H4 ceramic headlamp socket. I'm also reducing my 5 star rating to 2. These are great little connectors for mounting heavy H4 headlight harnesses. I'll say the male end is garbage, but that's not a problem because you're going to cut it off anyway. I've searched all over Revain and can't find another H4 ceramic…

Doesn't cost much. One problem solved. Yes.

Here's the thing, a '71 Land Cruiser FJ 40 that I've owned for almost 40 years. I recently took him to a well deserved rehab. It still has the original wiring and is in good condition except for the headlight circuits. For years he blew that fuse every few years and burned the original fuse box on that fuse post, installed a new Blue Sea Blade fuse panel, left the headlights on for a couple of hours and melted the headlight fuse post. It smelled like someone was braking in front of me. the fuse
