I use it when we travel in the car with our cat. It's big enough to put his tray in the back and the bed in the front. It really is the perfect size for a cat. I wouldn't recommend it if your cat tears it up, but my cat is very used to riding in the car with us, so it's just comfortable for him to sleep in. You can use a key ring to lock the zips together if your cat can figure out how to open them - that's what we use. You can also cover it with a light cloth so that the cat cannot see anything from the side. I recommended it to my sister who was leaving the state and traveling with her cat. Everything worked great!
