I am a professional chef and I need to scale up all the time. I have several expensive spring scales, but while they are very reliable, they are BIG and bulky. So I tend to reach for small digital ones first. I used to have 2 - one was/was accurate but impossible to erase. The other, easy to clean but gets misread all the time. These scales are so easy to clean and still pretty accurate! I love that the weight limit is over 30lbs and despite its compact size you can still see the numbers, no problem with a fairly large weigh bowl/blender jug/food processor or anything else that sits in German I also appreciate the separate one -/Off button - it can be finicky if it is identical to the tare button. The only thing I don't care about is that my other scales have ounce functions that change directly to pounds + ounces when they go over 16 ounces. These are pounds or ounces only. so i have to make a mental adjustment when scaling. It's okay, I'm getting used to it, but as a professional I try to work as quickly as possible and it's causing me a little psychological discomfort. Definitely worth buying, especially at this price!
