Yes, you blush and if you're pale like me you REALLY blush. Don't panic, this is not a chemical burn, it will go away within 30 minutes as the package says. Attached is a photo of the redness for reference. I have dry skin and wasn't sure if this was the mask for me until I tried it but wanted to treat my pimples, flakes, blackheads and acne scars. Well it worked. The second photo is before and after 1 application of half water and half apple cider vinegar. I know the photos aren't quite as good, but you can see the reduction in active pimples around my mouth and the discoloration of the scars. It also tightened my sagging skin, and after that, A LOT of dead skin and blackheads just fell off. I ended up dermaplaning because I didn't want to scrub right after and I needed to remove all the dead skin. I use scrubs regularly and had no idea my face could have so much dead skin on it. I mean, scrubs don't really clean my skin or pores that much. I left it on for 25 minutes despite having sensitive skin because I wanted to wait for all areas to dry (maybe I applied it thicker than necessary) but it didn't cause any problems. It dries HARD and is uncomfortable and when I remove it with a warm damp microfiber cloth my eyes water. I think using your fingers will be even more uncomfortable. The redness and discomfort are totally worth it, both are temporary but both are a bit disconcerting when you're not expecting it. expect it Excellent value for money, I hardly used it to keep my face and neck looking decent.
