Used it to check several parts on a washing machine I am repairing. , and by that I mean the LIGHTEST touch - like gently tugging on the wires in normal use - turns them off. It's a nightmare when you're checking for continuity and the multimeter doesn't beep. Is it an open circuit? Or do you just need to readjust the output jacks? For each test, you MUST press the input jacks. every time The multimeter itself - I obviously haven't used it much, but the one or two resistance, capacitance and continuity tests I did went well. Too bad: it could have been a decent device with tragically bad lead connections. However, when the design of the leading ports is so bad, then the rest is hard to trust. At least that's what I would expect from a $10 multimeter, but not a $50 model, especially from a supposed top brand. I sent this multimeter back. The next one I buy will be a $10 or $100 model.
