Amazing what modern technology has done with buckets! This is not the bucket I grew up with. The splinter-infested heavy wood has been replaced with modern molded plastic, reducing the weight by at least 6-7 pounds! The rope no longer burns to carry the bucket up those hills! An alloy handle with a comfortable plastic grip is a true marvel of modern technology gifted to us by these guys. Along with my best friends, Jack and Josephine, I will be using this product for many years to come or until the well runs dry. We're still in California.
